This week we have planned to write voyage stories, converted metric units of measure and written a heavenly diary entry.

Sol enjoyed converting metres to kilometres in Maths because multiplying and dividing by 1000 was challenging when in a new context. Harry, in particular,  has worked extremely  hard with Miss Sparks on this.

Charlie has  really enjoyed planning his story because he's loved the creative side of inventing characters and plot lines. Dylan liked our lead text 'Gulliver's Travels' and Jack was an absolute superstar when being the first to be hot seated as Gulliver. Zac is delighted to announce that he will soon be publishing the 5th instalment of Phillip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' series!

Samuel would like to say that he was inspired  to write a song during our Science 'Earth Diary' writing as he thinks being the Earth must  be incredibly dull.

Lastly, I would like to congratulate several members of our class for organising their band  (Galaxy Guys) auditions for Friday lunchtime. They were a roaring success and we hope to hear the results and fruits of their labour soon.
