This week we have been multiplying, exploring forces, punctuating speech - that is full of character- and starting to design our toys...
We have practised two different formal methods of multiplication this week. We can now choose whether to use Long Multiplication or the Grid Method to help us multiply larger numbers. Will says that he has found our multiplication work, "Really interesting."
We are also now prepared for writing our short stories - based on "The Mouth-Organ Boys - having planned lots of lovely characterful speech that moves our narrative forward.
Our toy designs are coming along nicely as we have investigated the different movements that a range of cams can offer us. We applied our learning in Science (on Monday we experimented with different forces) to our potential creations. Leon told me that he thinks his Gandalf toy is going to be, "Marvellous!"
