In our Maths we have begun to recap and master formal multiplication using 4 digit by two digit calculations. Will H says he has enjoyed it because he has found it challenging and this is a skill that  the whole class really need to master before year six.

Our English has been planning, writing and editing the conclusions to our stories. Chloe has really focused on having an impact on her reader and trying to make the ending of her story as emotional as possible. Angus has liked trying to achieve a humorous but also cautious feeling in his reader.  Leon has found it interesting because he is keen to use all of the new vocabulary we have been discussing and sharing.

We are now moving on to study Ancient Greece in our topic work but to add to that we have also taken on the fiver challenge! The children are very excited about turning five pounds into as much money as possible.  Molly is experimenting with sweets this weekend...
